How an AI tarot reading works here

The four steps

1. You ask. Anything. Real questions read better than tidy ones — a detail about what is actually happening gives the card something to work with.
2. The deck shuffles. The card is already chosen at that point, on our server, using cryptographic randomness. The shuffle is theatre; the draw is not.
3. You turn it. One card, or three for past, present and future. In a three-card spread you turn them in order, and each reading knows what came before it.
4. You read it. The reading opens by saying what is on the card and what it tends to mean, then turns to your question. Afterwards you can say one thing back and the reader answers.

What it will not do

Name a date. Promise an outcome. Tell you what someone else is thinking. Diagnose anything, or give medical, legal or financial advice. Ask it for any of those and it will say so plainly rather than talk around it.

If a question carries real weight, the reading meets it carefully and points at help rather than performing insight.

What it costs

One coin turns one card. Your first few are free, and there is a free one every day. Coins you buy never expire, and there is no subscription.

Questions people ask

How does the AI reading work?

The card, its meaning and your question go to a language model with instructions to read one against the other. It is told not to predict, not to invent details about your life, and not to recite a card encyclopedia.

Is the card really random?

Yes. It is drawn on the server with cryptographic randomness before any animation plays, so nothing in the browser can influence or reveal it early.

What happens to my question?

It is stored with your reading so you can come back to it, and it is sent to the model that writes the reading. It is never sent to analytics.
